After the success of Visit Terengganu Year 2008, Terengganu State is taking further steps in rebranding its tourist campaigns with "Visit Terengganu 2013- Beautiful State, Beautiful Culture" 

The rebranding of Terengganu  through its Visit Terengganu Year 2013 logo with a more vibrant look, will further stir awareness through better association with the tourism products and destinations.

Hailed as the "Germ of the East Coast " , Terengganu is a magical destination steeped in culture and herritage. Its long coastline offers sweeping vistas of aquamarine waters fringed by white powdering sands. Away from shores lie a cluster of islands that gleam invitingly in South China Sea. Kuala Terengganu is the charming capital of this state.

HANDICRAFT

A must visit for handicraft enthusiast; the Handicraft Centre boasts diverse wares that Terengganu is famous for and offers an insight into various craft making. From hand woven baskets to pandanus (mengkuang or screw pine leaves) mat weaving, from wood carvings to songket weaving, brassware as well as the exquisite hand drawn and block imprints, everything is all here. Each creation, unique with the unmistakable feel of Terengganu,

As the state is situated close to the sea, seafood plays a prominent role in its culinary scene. Fresh ingredients are said to give Terengganu's food its lip-smacking taste and distinct fragrance.
